Jamaica is 500 miles from the southernmost point in the US and about 4,500 miles from the UK. Unless you’re coming by boat, air is really the only way to get to our camp from overseas.
Things to keep in mind regarding your air travel:
Once you’re in Jamaica, getting to our camp is a cinch.
Things to keep in mind regarding your air travel:
- We can help with coordinating your vacation so that a camp session fits seamlessly into your family's plans.
- Be sure that each traveler's passport will still be valid at least 6 months after the scheduled return date.
- Factor whether you want to add time to your or your child's stay at camp.
- Getting to the island by air offers you two options: you can fly into Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston, or Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. If attending just our Reggae Week session in the Blue Mountains, KIN would be better. Fly into MBJ for our Irie Week session St. Ann .

The Irie Week Campsite

Located in the lush, green hills of Brown's Town, St. Hilda's Diocesan High School serves as the campsite for Irie Camp Jamaica. It’s close enough that you can get to your kids within a reasonable time, but far enough away that every family member will feel they’ve got privacy.
Meaning whether you’re sending your youngster alone for an adventure that's sure to melt their socks, or are planning to be at one of the many resorts on the island, our camp is easy to get to.
By the way, we have a virtual tour of the camp site. Enjoy!
